Terms
TekaaS Website Terms of Use
These Terms govern ordinary use of the public Website. TekaaS services require a separate written agreement accepted by authorized representatives.
Separate sites and platforms may have separate terms
These TekaaS Website Terms govern ordinary use of tekaas.com. They do not replace separate terms, notices, or agreements that govern another site or platform.
Effective July 21, 2026
Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language versions of tekaas.com and the public pages, forms, and materials that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Website").
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. If you use the Website for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to use the Website on its behalf and that "you" includes that organization where the context permits.
Operator and Website purpose
The Website is operated by TekaaS Inc, a corporation federally incorporated in Canada and registered to carry on business in British Columbia.
The Website provides general information about TekaaS, its enterprise AI and field-development-engineering consulting perspective, service categories, long-term research and development direction, and ways to request a business discussion. The Website is not a customer portal, software service, procurement system, or transaction platform.
TekaaS research and development materials describe a long-term foundation for following advances in AI, refining field-development-engineering strategy, and supporting responsible industry implementation. These capabilities support TekaaS engagements and are not sold as standalone software. They do not promise that any specific capability is available for purchase, production use, or a particular engagement.
Eligibility and lawful use
You may use the Website only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms and your use is permitted where you access it. The Website is directed to business professionals and is not designed for children.
You are responsible for complying with laws and organizational policies applicable to your use, including restrictions on sharing confidential, regulated, security-sensitive, export-controlled, or third-party information.
General information; no professional advice
Website content is provided for general informational and discussion purposes. It does not constitute legal, financial, investment, accounting, tax, employment, privacy, security, compliance, procurement, engineering, or other regulated or professional advice.
Enterprise AI decisions depend on facts not available through a public website, including organizational authority, intended use, data, systems, users, controls, evidence, consequences, and applicable law. You should obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals and conduct your own assessment before relying on a decision or taking action.
No offer, engagement, or fiduciary relationship
Website content is not an offer, quotation, tender response, commitment, warranty, or promise to provide a service on stated terms. Descriptions of services, methods, R&D directions, possible outcomes, or next steps are illustrative and subject to context, availability, diligence, approval, and a separate written agreement.
A form submission, acknowledgement, email, meeting, exploratory discussion, proposal discussion, or exchange of public information does not by itself create a client, supplier, fiduciary, partnership, joint-venture, agency, employment, or other contractual relationship. No duty to accept, evaluate within a particular period, maintain exclusivity, or proceed with an engagement arises from Website use.
Separate agreements for services
Any TekaaS consulting or other service requires a separate written agreement accepted by authorized representatives. That agreement will define the parties, scope, responsibilities, fees, expenses, schedule, deliverables, acceptance, confidentiality, intellectual-property rights, data handling, security, warranties, liability allocation, termination, and other applicable terms.
If a signed service agreement conflicts with these Terms on a matter within that agreement's scope, the signed service agreement governs that matter. These Terms continue to govern ordinary use of the public Website unless the signed agreement expressly states otherwise.
Intellectual property
The Website, including its text, structure, visual design, wordmarks, graphics, articles, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to TekaaS Inc and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. TekaaS, related branding, and the distinctive presentation of the Website may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without prior written authorization.
Third-party names, marks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to a third party does not transfer rights or imply endorsement.
Limited permission to use public content
Subject to these Terms, TekaaS grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and view public Website content for your own lawful personal or internal-business information purposes.
You may share a link to a public page and quote a reasonable excerpt with accurate attribution, provided that you do not remove context, alter meaning, disclose non-public material, or imply TekaaS approval. Reproduction, republication, commercial distribution, adaptation, translation, model training, dataset creation, or systematic extraction beyond applicable legal rights requires prior written authorization.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership or grants an implied licence to patents, confidential information, non-public methods, source code, trademarks, or other rights.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Website unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to infringe another person's rights
- impersonate a person or organization or misrepresent authority, affiliation, evidence, or purpose
- submit malware, malicious instructions, credentials, regulated data, customer-confidential material, production data, or unnecessary personal information
- interfere with availability, bypass access restrictions, defeat security or abuse controls, probe or test vulnerabilities without written authorization, or attempt unauthorized access
- use automated means in a way that burdens the Website, ignores published technical controls, circumvents rate limits, or systematically extracts content for resale, profiling, model training, or a competing dataset
- remove notices, alter content to misrepresent TekaaS, frame the Website deceptively, or use the Website to distribute unlawful or harmful material
- assist another person to do any of the above
Ordinary browser use and general-purpose search indexing that respects published controls are not prohibited by this section.
Information you submit
Submit only accurate information you are authorized to provide and only the non-confidential context reasonably needed for the stated purpose. Do not submit trade secrets, privileged material, regulated data, security-sensitive details, access credentials, personal information about another person without authority, customer-confidential information, or production data.
You retain ownership of information you submit. You give TekaaS only the limited permission reasonably necessary to validate, secure, route, assess, record, and respond to your request, and to comply with applicable law. This permission is subject to the Privacy Policy and does not authorize public disclosure, unrelated use, or training a public or shared AI model.
TekaaS does not agree to confidentiality merely because information is submitted through the Website. Confidentiality obligations arise only under a separately accepted written agreement. If confidential discussion may be appropriate, first provide only enough non-confidential context to determine the next step.
Third-party links and resources
The Website may link to third-party websites, standards, laws, publications, or services for reference. TekaaS does not control them and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or changes. A link does not imply endorsement, partnership, or verification.
Your use of a third-party resource is governed by that resource's terms and policies. You should evaluate it independently.
Availability, accuracy, and changes
TekaaS aims to keep public information clear and current but does not promise that every page is complete, error-free, continuously available, suitable for a particular purpose, or updated immediately after a change in technology, law, research, or service availability.
TekaaS may correct, update, reorganize, suspend, or withdraw Website content or functionality. Material changes to legal notices or personal-information practices remain subject to the notice and consent requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its public content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TekaaS disclaims implied representations, conditions, and warranties concerning merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability, and results, to the extent such disclaimers are legally permitted.
TekaaS does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, free from harmful code, or compatible with every device or assistive technology. These disclaimers do not exclude a representation or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded and do not modify an express commitment in a separately signed service agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TekaaS and its directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or business interruption arising from or related to use of, inability to use, or reliance on the public Website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The applicable allocation of risk for paid services will be stated in the separately signed service agreement.
Privacy
The TekaaS Privacy Policy explains the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information through the Website and forms part of the Website notice framework.
If these Terms and the Privacy Policy appear to conflict about personal-information handling, the Privacy Policy governs that handling unless applicable law or a separately signed agreement requires otherwise.
Restriction or termination of access
TekaaS may restrict or terminate access to the Website where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, users, TekaaS, providers, or the public; to address a violation of these Terms; or to comply with law or a provider requirement.
On termination, the permission in section 8 ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including intellectual-property, submitted-information, disclaimer, liability, governing-law, and interpretation provisions—continue to apply.
Governing law and venue
These Terms and Website use are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable right or mandatory forum, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia sitting in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Nothing in this section prevents TekaaS from seeking urgent protective or injunctive relief in another court with jurisdiction where reasonably necessary to protect intellectual property, confidential information, systems, or safety.
General terms
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue where legally permitted. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. A waiver must be express and applies only to the stated circumstances.
You may not assign rights or obligations under these Terms without TekaaS's prior written consent. TekaaS may assign these Terms as part of a bona fide reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the Website or relevant business, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and notices expressly incorporated into them, form the entire agreement concerning ordinary public Website use. They do not replace a separately signed service agreement.
Language versions
The English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese versions are intended to communicate the same Terms. If a material inconsistency remains, the English version governs to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
TekaaS may revise these Terms to reflect changes in law, Website functionality, or business practices. The current version and effective date will be posted on the Website.
Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law and after reasonable notice where required.
Contact about these Terms
Direct questions about these Terms to the Legal Contact, TekaaS Inc through the Legal purpose in the Website contact form, or by mail to TekaaS Inc, 4505 Hazel St, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
Do not include confidential information, credentials, regulated data, security-sensitive information, or unnecessary personal information in the initial request. A Website submission is not an agreement to accept service of legal process unless TekaaS Inc expressly confirms otherwise in writing or applicable law requires it.
